Established in 2023, The Scotland Stoics is a registered charity advancing Stoic philosophy and Stoicism as a lifestyle across Scotland. We cultivate local Stoic communities (stoas and stoidions) in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

LOCAL COMMUNITIES
We are currently running three local communities: Edinburgh (Stoa Akrokorifi), Glasgow (Stoidion Sideron) and Dundee (Stoidion Nautikon). They are all very friendly and would love to welcome you if you are curious to learn more about Stoic philosophy and Stoic living!
MAKE-YOU-THINK QUOTES
If you are introverted or shy – or simply prefer to contribute from the comfort of your home – the Quotes Team might be your calling! We have an amazing dedicated team of Stoic bookworms who are perusing Stoic literature collecting quotes and recommended reading related to specific themes (e.g. love, justice, forgiveness) that we use at our regular meetings. The Quotes Team may be working behind the scenes but the gems they find lay the the foundations for many in-person projects.
MEETINGS WITH STOIC AUTHORS
